Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh salmon fillet, skinless and boneless
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Slider buns or mini burger buns
- Fresh lettuce leaves
- Sliced cucumber for garnish
- For the Cucumber-Dill Sauce:
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, finely grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Start by making the sauce with cucumber and dill
Put Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, fresh dill, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl
Add pepper and salt to taste
While you make the salmon sliders, mix the sauce well and put it in the fridge
Put the salmon fillet into a food processor with some small pieces
Just pulse the salmon until its broken up into small pieces, not pureed
Chop the salmon and put it in a bowl
Add the breadcrumbs, red onion, fresh parsley, egg, salt, and black pepper
Mix everything together well
Make little burger patties out of the salmon mixture by dividing it into small pieces
In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat
When the salmon sliders are golden on the outside and cooked all the way through, theyre done
In the pan, toast the slider or mini-burger buns until they get a little brown
Spread some Cucumber-Dill Sauce on the bottom bun, then add a fresh lettuce leaf
Place a salmon patty on top of the lettuce, and finish with cucumber slices
Place the other half of the bun on top and use a toothpick to hold it in place if necessary
Enjoy Serve the Salmon Sliders with Cucumber-Dill Sauce right away
