This sausage pasta recipe is a hearty and flavorful dish thats perfect for a cozy dinner. The combination of Italian sausage, tomatoes, and herbs creates a rich and satisfying sauce that coats every strand of pasta.
Ingredients:
- 250g pasta
- 200g Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can 400g diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook the pasta until it is al dente
Remove the water and set it aside
Toast the Italian sausage in a big pan over medium-low heat until it turns brown
If you need to, get rid of the extra fat
Cut up the onion and garlic and add them to the pan
Cook the onions until they become clear
Tomato sauce, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper should all be mixed in now
Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring every now and then
Add pasta that has been cooked to the pan
