Low Carb Slow Cooker Beef Brisket

Slow-cooked beef brisket that is low in carbs is juicy, tender, and full of flavor. This dish is great for people on the keto diet because it is easy to make and filling.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs beef brisket
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup low-carb barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste

Instructions:

Use paper towels to dry the beef brisket

Put salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a small bowl and mix them together

Cover the brisket with the spice mix and rub it all over

In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat

For about three to four minutes on each side, sear the brisket until its golden brown

Put the brisket in a slow cooker

Mix apple cider vinegar, barbecue sauce, tomato paste, and beef broth in a different bowl

Add the mix to the slow cooker with the brisket

Slow-cook the brisket with the lid on for 8 to 10 hours, or until its soft

Take the brisket out of the slow cooker when its done cooking and let it rest for 10 minutes before cutting it

Cut it against the grain and serve hot
